At St. Michael's Day School we strive to teach the children in our care many things. One of the most important things we teach is the idea of community service. Even a 4 year old child can participate in charity. We hope to instill in them a sense of community and how we all work together and help each other.
For the month of November, we will be collecting new, unwrapped gifts for the abused and neglected children in our community through the Children's Home Society. Our trees will be outside of the classrooms with ornaments that list the child's name and their Christmas wishes. Feel free to take an ornament and bring back the gift during the month of November.
You are not required to purchase everything on their wish list. We hope to provide something for that child to receive; any gift you choose will be cherished.
We will deliver the gifts to the Children's Home Society on December 3rd so please be sure to bring in your contribution by December 2nd.
Thank you for joining us in making their Christmas a little brighter!
